Aerial Silks Classes


Aerial Silks Open Hang

Open hang is for current or former ACRO students. They are not open to drop-ins at this time.

Cost is $35 per date

Beginner Silks (Level 1):

Sundays 1:00 - 2:15 pm

“An introduction to aerial silks”

During this course series, students will learn terminology, basic wraps, proper form and alignment and the foundational skills of aerial silks (inverts, knee hooks, foot locks, wrist locks, hangs, proper warm ups and proper cool downs). The instructor acknowledges that different areas use different terminology and will present as much information as possible.

  • This workshop series will run for six weeks, with each class running 1.25 hours.

  • No prerequisite skill is required.

  • Open to adults only; *registration requires students to be 18 or older at the time of course start.

  • Cost: $240 for 6 weeks


Beginner Silks (Level 2/3):

Sundays 2:15 - 3:30 pm

“Continued progression through beginner aerial silks”

This series is designed for students who already have a foundation in aerial arts and can execute a variety of skills in slip knot and footlock, as well as enter a hipkey from the ground (any entry).

This series will introduce additional skills in footlocks and slip knot while building strength to move toward holds and poses in the air. Over the 6 weeks, students will learn terminology, wraps, proper form and alignment and continue to explose the foundational skills of aerial silks (inverts, knee hooks, foot locks, wrist locks, hangs, proper warm ups and proper cool downs). The instructor acknowledges that different areas use different terminology and will present as much information as possible.

Requires instructor permission to register (email review of knowledge/skill level)

  • Open to adults only; registration requires students to be 18 or older at the time of course start.

Intermediate Silks (Level 4):

Sundays 3:30 - 4:45 pm

“Aerial theory & intermediate aerial silks”

This series is designed for students who already have a foundation in aerial arts and can execute a variety of skills in the air including single & double footlocks (all entries), windmill hip key, knee hooks and crochet.

This series will introduce intermediate and incorporate more silks theory and invert conditioning. Over the 6 weeks, students will learn terminology, sequences, wraps, proper form and alignment and the continue to build on their foundational knowledge of skills of aerial silks with aerial theory and technique instruction. The instructor acknowledges that different areas use different terminology and will present as much information as possible.

Front Splits: 4-week Active Flexibility Intensive

This program is designed to develop strength and neural connections for those looking to improve their front splits in a safe and sustainable way. The goal is to build marked active flexibility safely in just 4-6 weeks.


Straddle Splits for Beginners

This program is designed for those looking to develop and improve their straddle split and pancake in a safe and sustainable way. It is designed to take approximately 15 minutes and be done every other day.
